Joe Wrongville turned VERY bullish sometime last year, helping to convince me to load up on index puts in September. Must be that time again. (Do people actually pay for his newsletter?)

BTW, a newsletter writer / Elliot Wave follower on CNBC after Joe's "call" said 9000 in about a month (by April at the latest).

BUT, he also discussed a "15 year cycle" (actually 15 years to 15 years and 11 months) that he said has never failed, in the history of the Dow, to be the time from a "major bottom" to a "major top" (said something about "catastrophic"). The last major bottom that he would measure from was Aug. '82.

I don't put a lot of (any?) faith in this kind of mathmatical magic, but I do believe that he will soon have another of his 15 year cycles to support his theory (actually Elliot's).

PS: Arch the Astrologer is on CNBC now. Something about a solar eclipse of Pluto on Feb. 26 ... Uh, hmm?
