[ Re: PERLF's response ]

It is very good to see that management has played an active role in addressing the issues of concern that limited Perle's products from reaching its full capabilities.

I reiterate my comfort in holding the issue as one of my long term investments. As the stock is fairly illiquid, I do not believe that it is an appropriate vehicle of investment for active traders seeking a quick dollar.

Note that the stock remains in its intermediate term downtrend, hence there will be an added statistical risk in purchasing such an issue. I believe in this case that the technical characteristics of the stock are lagging the fundamental developments and characteristics of the company. Until the two factors coincide, however, I do not expect that this issue will appreciate rapidly in valuation. I am currently looking for a close above $1.70 to confirm a breakout from a short-to-intermediate term downtrend (October 1997 to current date).

Regards,

Rainier
