The current trend suggests that another fiat will replace the USD as the currency of the world.

Eventually gold could play that role ( and I wish it will). But It will be digital gold, a cryptocurrency 100% backed by gold that will be accessible to everybody and tradable securely by all.

Speaking of gold, there's a 140-mile-wide asteroid out there made of gold, nickel, and iron. It's thought to be the core of the planet that broke up to become the asteroid belt between Jupiter and Mars. One of Elon's Falcon Heavy chariots is scheduled to go take a look this October. They say the asteroid -- called "16 Psyche" -- could contain $10 quintillion in gold. That's a 1 followed by 19 zeroes.

Talk about inflation....

Every T, D, & H?? What about all the Susies, Karens, and Queens?d

Much of the price of gold is due to 'value' as a display of wealth, or just a glittery object.
