Bull I am not growling yet, still pretty much straddled. Leaning bearish.

Things must have changed very early in the morning. I usually look at the futs during my night time potty breaks. Kind of an ugly day.

The who's who of astro and cycles has this week dead center for a major turn (down), with a window out to early June. Mr. Merriman. He also says very tricky right in here. Been right on with the tricky part of late.

I have a nasty looking astro turn on the 13th. It is due to these, which correlate very negative to Dow reactions. Saturn did not disappoint today.

5/12/2023 Mercury Sextile (60°) Saturn -3.31%
5/12/2023 Mercury Sextile (60°) Venus 0.74%
5/12/2023 Venus Trine (120°) Saturn -2.04%
5/15/2023 Mars Trine (120°) Neptune -1.14%

I am not going to under estimate the power of the cycle and astro, and is why I sold my Cohu. There are some really bearish possibilities going forward, decided it best to let the hand be shown.

I groused several earnings reports, Apple, Google, Amazon, Msoft, Xom, etc. One very prominent theme, declining revenues.

Wave wise were still in this big debate, do we get a Big C down or not? Not yet clear imo. But I think Merriman has it pretty much nailed as to the timing for a decision on the matter, I am on the same page.

There is no need to jump the gun, down or up, the next major cycle is a longer one.

And as usual there are many things unclear. One possibility that pops up is that we will get a default, and no agreement on more free money, until much later in the year. I am not a finance man and have limited understanding, but it keeps popping up that if this happens, rates will rocket upward. My dollar cycles say more dollar up but a bit unclear.

Tweets

Msoft now dead center a very major cycle top. We will get a reaction, so count stays the same, until further data. If the bulls win, the reaction will be mild and no TL break. Imo.

Tech is a big part of the Spx now. The Ndx cycles are in the same boat with Msoft, as it should be. Imo still a lot of question marks. We should get a reaction here. If the B case top holds, what a weak B wave.

Wow. Maybe Jobs will make a come-back. <g> Bring some badly needed innovation?

I want to believe in the tech rally ... the market just keeps looking like carp. Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday. So we can start talking about next week, soon.

AAPL - Don't know how or why, but this one's headed to 213.01 min due to Fib ext targets. Sorry Che-cargo, but you're gonna have to wait a little longer for da blood.
