Hi WEagle,

Triangles give me mixed opinions.

Reading Edwards and Magee Triangles are short term formations.

Days and week but not months.

They are very specific on that and some times I think they are correct.

They also have the best description of when a head and shoulders pattern looks correct, but is not. It is all about the volumes involved in the first shoulder then the head, followed by another shoulder. The greater volume is usually the first shoulder then the head. A high volume on the second shoulder is not as reliable a set up. Henry was a great man to me and made many recommendations on studying good books on stock picking or

Not sure how many here benefitted from many years of TA analysis from a wonderfully senior but very sharp mind that offered TA reads on other peoples interest in stocks. Henry mad his final fortune by very long term buy and hold with AAPL. When henry forecast a corrective wave, he would buy protective puts and kept all of his shares for I suspect decades.

His two great recommendations to me were to buy these books:

1) Technical Analysis of Stock Trends by Edwards and Magee. Try to find the earliest edition

2) Elliott Wave Principle by Frost and Prechter - Try to buy the earliest edition here also.

I search the used book shops. I've paid 40.00 for one and then bought a second book for $7.00. One man's junk is another gold! LOL

Very true in investment books!

Then of course my first Treasure was Ted's book.

Those three books go with me everywhere I travel (and my lap top).

They and many more I'm sure will be continuously visited source books for the rest of your investing lives.

A wise man never stops learning!

Made it to Wisconsin a week ago and have been mowing grass ever since. Beautiful 65 to 75 degree days with some cool showers.

Happy Mothers Day to all the MOMs!
