Canadians pay 1/2 as much, are 2x happier, and suffer only 20% of the paperwork Americans suffer. And everyone is covered. The only complainers are the rich who want to butt in line in front of other people who need medical care... including children. EVERY other industrialized country in the world has socialized medicine and in every country they're happier. Now... I would say a voucher system *might* work... It would with schools, not the totally unfair stupid republican version, but a voucher system could be tweaked to work so the rich don't abuse it.
