That is the one area that is a mystery. The only way to know would be if you sat in the meetings.

As far as the shorting structure goes, it's possible that they don't need shares borrowed to short offshore.

Anything is possible including NTN complicity allowing them to short.

Remember that as the financing was being signed NTN did a flurry of PR type releases. It's also when the rumors were started about a "big deal" being imminent.

I have to think that was no accident. It allowed the initial shorts to go off at the highest possible prices.

Why would NTN take part in that? Could be simply that Sokol knew that the shorting would crush the stock, and he wanted to have it start at the highest levels possible. To protect it. Other possibilities are more sinister and I would hate to even say.

You could be right on the 5 million shares. These guys are smart enough to keep firepower in reserve to overwhelm any rally attempt.

They hold all the cards.
