It's coming back big from yesterday's low!! Have you seen this from the yahoo boards? This guy is all over the stock!! Alwayshappy, I believe he was simply exhibiting a bit of "sarcasm" in light of today's events. People, I don't believe the majority of the readers here quite understand what this little company is sitting on. I highly suggest that you read through the following (just a few tidbits from my files)to gain an appreciation of PECOS and its potential: elcom.com Does the word "growth" ring through? elcom.com unlimited potential... elcom.com just a wee taste of how simple the PECOS system is to use... elcom.com Ahh...and this for our dear and close friend Mr.P who has reason to believe that the recent PECOS.pm has "problems" (to paraphrase his statement). and finally for additional info til your heart's content.... elcom.com Now, let me toss you people another bone: I mentioned previously that I firmly believe Big Money can buy ANYTHING it wants, especially information. Suppose "information" has methodically been collected over the past quarter about ELCO's customers...who they are, how many new ones there have been, the DOLLAR VALUE of SALES that have transpired to ELCO etc. Do not think for one instance that this information cannot be "collected", it does occur. Now, from this information a very close estimation of total sales for a quarter could be calculated, could it not? Applying historical expense data (appropriately adjusting for any stated deviations) would then allow one to arrive at a remarkably close approximation of what earnings were going to be. Do you really think that "a leak" is ALWAYS the cause of an ACCURATE movement in price prior to an earnings announcement? Have you ever noticed that ~90% (not based on evaluation of 8000+ stocks) of the time that a stock rallies into good earnings, there was an initial sharp and attention getting dip? (CYMI, FGII immediately come to mind) Yes, leaks happen, but not to the extent we are led to believe. Pre-announcement movements are the result of BIG MONEY acting on "information". Let me emphasize, there are plenty who know what earnings are going to be... there are plenty who know "what's going on" with Solomon Smith Barney... AND THEY ALL HAVE BIG MONEY!!!!!!! I for one do not believe earnings will be a single digit. Lastly, as you read through the above links keep in mind that entering new markets does not pay dividends immediately, but if successful, they SURE DO 6-12 months down the road!!! Guess what, it's 6 MONTHS DOWN THE ROAD!! and yes, THE BIG MONEY KNOWS THAT TOO!!! Can I make this any simpler about what is happening here without coming out and saying it?
