Wharfie,
One day in 4 years impresses you?
There are plenty of other examples. I'll just highlight one.

There's this thing that is now called the "Pence Rule" when it comes to platonic relationships between men and women. It used to be called the Billy Graham rule.

Billy Graham rule - Wikipedia

I'm a firm believer in the Pence Rule even before it was called that. In fact, I found it funny that the media never even heard of it until it was associated with Pence.

Some in the media, of course, called the Pence Rule another example of tOxIc mAsCuLiNiTy, especially feminists who felt that the rule was overly archaic and even "demeaning" toward professional women.

But in the age of #metoo and the media's fixation toward protecting women from sexual violence, the Pence Rule made perfect sense to me.

P.S. - No word yet on what will become the "Kamalala Rule," but I'm considering the art of laughing hysterically, talking in meaningless word salads, and running away from personal responsibility, as a viable candidate.
