" their attempts to normalize sexual discussions all the way down to elementary school."
Do you mean normalize discussions like "Ms. Gay, why are you married to a woman?" or "Teacher, why did I see an ad on TV where a man kissed a man?"

California Education Code § 51933-51934(link is external), known as the California Healthy Youth Act, requires school districts to ensure that all students in grades 7–12 receive comprehensive sex education and HIV/AIDS prevention education at least once in middle school and once in high school. It also mandates that the curricula be age-appropriate, medically accurate, objective, and “appropriate for use with pupils of all races, genders, sexual orientations, and ethnic and cultural backgrounds; pupils with disabilities; and English learners.” The law further requires instruction to teach students about gender, gender expression, gender identity, and gender stereotypes.

>> Instead, they're doing that because everything that they've tried thus far has done nothing to reduce racism, sexism, homophobia, and other forms of bigotry throughout society.

So instead of reflecting upon their own failures, they double-down on the indoctrination.<<

School boards are local. Not federal or national.

You can't indoctrinate sexuality.

Kids today will see and know everything sexual as soon as they can work a smart phone.

It's better to educate them.
