Because the whole DEI racket, up until recently, was hugely profitable for Woke Inc.

By the way, I'm feeling a bit sorry for Dylan Mulvaney. He/she/it/they probably never expected to be caught up in the backlash. All he/she/it/they wanted to do was cater to his/her/its/their fans.
