Joe,

I really think he is too smart to lie - there are way too many people that would get burned and not come back to play. It's one thing to get blindsided/surprised by earnings announcement, but quite another if a company's sr management deceive or mislead. Besides, he has a ton of ORCL to lose plus his rep and ego.

regards,

Ed

P.S. The shorts won today.

Joe: I hope that you are not stretched out to far in ORCL. With
the possibility of a war on the horizon you never know what the
stocks could do short-term. If USA starts the war IRAQ, foreign money
could leave US stocks and cause an immediate drop in the US market.

Eventually IMO the war will stimulate the economy and help the stocks
but initially it could be unpleasant for those holding long positions.

I think we are probably OK until after the Olympics though and that should get us through this friday and options expiration also.

Whew! Too many factors to consider short-term but long term ORCL will bring a nice profit to its shareholders.
