Brumar, the cancellation of JK Rowling is a big deal. She used to be a huge hero of the left. She was all for globalism, democratic socialism, left-wing human rights causes, etc. etc.

But when the left started supporting the transgender movement, she drew the line there.

Now she's a pariah to the "woke." Vox, for example, is now labeling her a "transphobe":

J.K. Rowling’s transphobia: A history - Vox

One thing is for sure. She is and will always be her own woman.

And to me, she will always be the English author whose literary genius rivals that of J.R.R. Tolkien.
