This AI stuff is stupid, it's all just bull (IMAO). However, one might perhaps want to be bullish on those of the stocks in the "space" that have bubble potentiality, as it seems that we may be in the beginning of a bubble that could possibly blow up to epic proportions. I hear co-workers talk about AI, I get invited to seminars on it, I get all kinds of different newspapers with "AI" on the first page and emails with it in the subject line... It seems that everyone wants to talk about it all the time, and one is bombarded with "info" and speculations on the topic. I feel sick of the word/concept already (it's just another buzz word without substance...) – and then I don't even read the papers, and try to avoid "news" as much as possible... Perhaps this is the time when one should "run towards the bubble", as Soros said/did. (I'm still far from "peak disgust", which usually sets in a little before the peak of a bubble; feels like "early bubble days" still!)

However, as I am chronically unable to be one with the crowd, I have instead taken the opposite stance and gone short NVDA through mini futures. (Very small position.) Mostly because it seems that the stock price action seems quite unsustainable; not because of valuation, as that seems to be a bad reason to go short an individual stock, at least in the short run. (Although a three digit P/E doesn't exactly hurt the short case...)

PS. No new thing under sun:

It’s not true AI yet.
But chat gpt is going to accelerate automations. And eliminated jobs. Increase productivity.

It’s early stage like when first computers played chess. They said computers will never beat top level humans
Alpha Zero……they said computers will never beat top level Go player because there were too many variables….. Alpha Go…..
These were written to self learn. I think LLM might be similar self-learning method using very large data.
Chat gpt5 will be better than human order taker, customer service, programmer etc…

So every 5 to 10 years we are breaking new ground because of better hardware or better software or both.
