C2, re <<A bit of congestion, some coughing plus some insignificant gastric distress (gas)>> the same condition widely reported in HK but I did not experience such. Perhaps because I simply stopped eating set meals during the first 2-3 days as I did not have appetite for anything except oranges, a strange occurrence for I usually favour tangerines / mandarin oranges. I do not like oranges given the messiness near my computer keyboard and iPad screen. I did pick some lime in the garden and squish them into my water, and I certainly drank vitamin C fizzy pills as if they were tea / coffee.

I did isolate myself downstairs at the garden level to make sure I did not, and I did not, infect the household. I did go out to walk about to take in the sun and hot but fresh air.

The respite was welcomed.

Now that I had experienced Covid as Covid, per testing, I am 99.99% positive that I had once before been infected in November 2019, a few months before the Covid news broke. And yes <<but symptoms are much less than the original bout>> in comparison that bout was nasty and a near death experience. The worst part was the hacking cough and breathing difficulty. I got rid of that episode, without knowing better, by Chinese flu medicine, chicken soup, and essentially continuous sleep for 72 hours.

In fact I have not been sick since November 2019 until two weeks ago.

I am going to guess that normal anti-flu precautions should suffice going forward.

Get well soonest. TJ
