To all,

I did not quit finish what I had to say in the last post.

My mind does not work as well as it has in the past and I tend to forget what I started to say. I have a large bed and sometimes I start to the other side to give a message to my wife and forget why I started the journey. It will happen to all you young turks in time to come, but for me it happens now.

Back to the subject.

I think that there is great potential in the dd area. My personal bias is toward GPGI, and you all know that. There may be others of even greater potential. I am not biased in that respect, only in the concept of new vistas in the dd area. There is also a great potential for personal financial disaster in investing in the wrong company in this area. The whole damn thing is an investors minefield. Step on the wrong one and you are history.

So, how do we wend our way through the minefield. To whom shall we listen. I have no answer there, but I have my personal opinions and you might be surprised.

One thing that I am sure will not work for us small investors is faith, hope and charity. We need to be ahead of the large investors and superbly informed!!!!!! No hype or bullshit among us, well, we will see!

We have folks who can pick the high and low (close enough) in individual stocks, and we have folks who know investment stratigy, and we have folks with lots of talent to share. We as individual investors need to be more wise and I will leave that where it is.

Clearly, there are changes coming in the mining industry and this is not a market timing thing, but just a heads up sort of thing. I am responsible for my own small inventory of foolish investments, and so are all of you. Do not listen to me, but be responsible to yourself!

Well, another diatribe by me!! Probably no surprise to anyone!

GPGI prediction--next Tuesday, small break to the downside, then, later in the week, a break to the upside--(flag formation on the weekly chart) Iffy, but I am predicting a break up out of this one!!

Blabbermouth, Jack

Jack,

Here are some sites that may be helpful in finding and evaluating online brokers: (I found these in Forbes' ASAP for Feb 23)

onlineinvestors.com gives a comprehensive view based on price and quality.

brokerlinks.com lists brokers by price at the moment.

And for threads that discuss online brokers:

Subject 2951
Subject 18129
