. . . so I calls my friend and tells him the 2500 shares of VLNC he bought at 5 1/2 on my advice was worth $2500 more today than yesterday. "Duh," he replies. "I just found out...the trade didn't go through." (First day with his Suretrade account.) Can we have a moment of silence?

More often than not, when the guest market monitor on NBR mentions a stock he likes, it gains a couple of points the following trading day. In this case it would be on tuesday. If LD makes some firm statements to the effect that they "expect to successfully conclude contract negotiations with one or two OEM's within the next few weeks", or something along those lines, then I believe the stock will gain several points before the end of the day. Even though he may not yet announce actual contracts.

Of course, I could be wrong. Naaa, we're on our way, it's a fact!
