I cast my lot with the military minded, though I served mostly as a Reserve, I started in the Viet Nam war era, it really was a war. I did 22 years of combined active and reserve, retired a Major in the Air Force Reserve the day after Clinton (I smoked but didn't inhale) was elected) as I didn't want him soling my retirement orders. People tell me the military has changed a lot since those days. War is still Hell any way you cut it. and if the big weapons get tossed then we will all be in it.
