It sure was. perhaps because folks tend to exhibit such characteristics when they reside at the wrong intersections of history.But I didn't know anything about the intersectionality at the time. That was surely the reason, in retrospect, with all that has happened. But even in my ignorance, I could see that compared with all the other places I had been, it certainly was something serious lurking in their minds. What's amazing is that yet again the Useful Idiots are falling for the propaganda. It's an impressive process. Many of them must be the same people. WMDs in Iraq, chemical attacks by Assad in Syria, babies thrown out of incubators in Kuwait, butchering in Bucha [most likely by the Zelensky Azovs rather than Russians to the extent there was murdering]. I'm feeling fairly surly and sullen myself these days, being at the wrong intersection of history with loons ready to go full Dr Strangelove. I remain angry about the A380 I was in flying over Ukraine while down below there were desperate men killing and being killed. When I realized the pilots really were going to continue on course over Ukraine, I was scared that we'd be hit by a rocket. I mistakenly thought that such rockets target engines. I thought the decompression and piece of engine and wing missing would still leave us enough functionality to carry on to a landing site. I did not know that the clever rockets these days target the cockpit as happened only a couple of weeks later when more stupid pilots in a Malaysian airliner flew in the opposite direction over the same war zone. With the Twin Towers the stupid pilots figured out after the horse had bolted that closing the cockpit door BEFORE jihadists attack was a good idea. They couldn't figure out that flying over a war zone where soldiers have rockets to shoot down high flying aircraft is also a bad idea. I do not like me and everyone I know being at this insane intersection of history. I could understand if there was some dire Malthusian reason but there is not. It's people like Hunter and DementiaJoe10% and murderous maniacs like Graham, Clinton "We Came, We Saw, He Died ... cackle cackle cackle" and so many more. Mqurice
