Wharfie, You seem eager to shrug off the killing of the gay. Why? Uganda is Uganda. They are FAR from even being a stable democracy, much less a beacon of western liberalism. AFAIK, we never attached any pro-LGBBQ+ strings to our current aid package being sent there. Should there be? That depends on what the purpose of the aid is. If it's strictly for health and humanitarian reasons, then no. It's like Doctors Without Borders telling Uganda to either repeal their anti-LGBBQ+ laws, or they will leave the country.
