Richard-Gray market is an out of date term now considered
independent distribution which is where spot prices come
from. Most contract deals no longer are 3-6months out if it
can be helped and many mfger have started BTO in earnest and
require mfgers of dram to deliver within hours or days
keeping inventory at the dram mfger site.

Regards Jerry

Richard, By flash, does he mean beaten down companies like Atmel? If they are the companies to buy, why is Atml sitting around 17 (down from like 50) weeks on end? What is your take on Toshiba stopping production a year early? Is this a sign that Mu is selling something anti-productive with no viable options for the future OR does it mean with no Txn or Toshiba in the market, they have a corner and thus are in better position to dominate (albiet short term)?
