You are telling me that a lot of psychosis is not hereditary? Seriously!!!! It's documented EVERYWHERE! It most absolutely is. Depression, addiction schizophrenia etc etc etc.
There's also numerous studies showing lobe deficiency in violent criminals where judgement and self control are formulated. You're reading the wrong references.
I could take it to an even more extreme but I'll stop. Criminal psychology has always been one of my curiosities from when I used to read my grandfather's medical library as a kid. I kept up with it throughout my life as I find it fascinating that we are just a bunch of chemical reactions and electric circuits in a fine balance to function.
Evolutionary necessities forced changes as we moved from where climate and food were readily available to regions where food/climate was seasonal and therefore cause/effect, planning ahead and self control were vital for survival. You either evolved and developed those abilities or your genes were eliminated through starvation/exposure.
