Jim Rogers said on Market Wrap today that the Chinese currency has begun to fall in the black market for the first time in 4 years.

Simon:

It looked like a nice little one-day reversal for the DJT. Maybe they are thinking that Clinton will change acts and go after Saddam instead of all the women in the White House. I was tempted to play the OSX, or one of its components, in anticipation of an upside move.

I believe S. Korea took a beating last night again or maybe I am reading Yahoo wrong. I thought at least two markets over there traded on Saturday. There really does appear to be a "Domino Effect" in southeast Asia. First, S. Korea, Thailand, and Indonesia, and then Hong Kong and Japan. The U. S. tends to get sucked into these things eventually.

Simon: There goes the clown. I think MCD is joining the MOT, INTC, MSFT, and CSCO crowd. Take a look. Also, check out the clown's activity during March 96, May 97, and July 97. The volume is a little stronger now than in the past three episodes which may make a bit of a difference. However, the clown should run out of mustard soon.

Ok, Simon. Three leaders on the NASDAQ rolling over; AMAT caught in resistance; a possible one-day reversal in the DJT; and a DJI clown running out of mustard. I think we may be starting a trend here.
