All,

Picking up one of Jury's discussions and "IT's" comment about the Gulf, it seemed to me two weeks ago that nothing would happen for a while, but the two weeks are up, the Olympics are winding down, and the scandal is heating up. The coming week could see some saber-rattling and perhaps an aerial strike. There is even the long shot chance that there will be some specific ground raids which capture a weapons site and prove that there were Iraqi weapons to justify the concerns. This is just an intuitive assessment, but if true, it means that you've got a good idea, "IT". A small position in oil might be a good place to park some money for the next 3 months.

I still don't see it as a downswing for the market as a whole, but we have seen some real gains in the last two weeks, and the market might use such news to pause and catch a breath.

(Welcome back Steve.)

Regards,

Marc

Bot Roy Dutch leaps and then they came with not exactly favourable numbers. Looks still we have some common thinking going.

How's your consulting/expertise activity doing? Understand you got an offer some time ago (pardon for getting personal on the CB).

Regards

DJ

IT; RE:" Black Gold "

Good luck on your oils, IT!!! It's a fun sector to trade in. VRC looks like a good day-trader, percent-wise.

I've had a miserable cold for days - can hardly think straight, much less trade stocks. Finally decided to whack it with good old American anti-biotics. Today I could actually go out doors and walk down to see if the Seine was still there and have lunch at the neighborhood cafe. Not so exciting, (but felt good to get outta the sick-bed, ya know ?)

yep - going back up to the office in Oslo next week; For a southern boy who don't know what to do in snow, I can't seem to avoid it (^_^)
