UMC to list four units in Taiwan, U.S. in next 2 yrs -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TAIPEI (AFX-ASIA) - United Microelectronics Corp will list four units on the Taiwan and U.S. stock markets in the next two years, a UMC spokesman said. He said UMC plans to list 40 pct-owned semiconductor maker United Semiconductor Corp and 31 pct-owned printed circuit board maker World Wiser Electronics Inc in Taiwan. UMC will seek the listing of 42 pct-owned DAVICOM Semiconductor Inc and 31 pct-owned Integrated Technology, both of which are integrated circuit designers, in the U.S. The UMC spokesman said details of the listings have yet to be decided. UMC closed down 4.00 twd at 77.50 on volume of 27.33 mln shares.
