Dan,

I did not see anything aboutFirst Pacific owning 2.8 million shares, I have to check it out. Together the two of them have or could have quite a bit of sway, should they have any desire to use it. This is one of the craziest valuations I have seen.
Let me know what you think after you read Bill Marriner's conference call transcript, I am curious. Hopefully Brinson's purchase will have built a solid base in the low $7's, time will tell.
Does our SGI use EXBT drives too?

Dan,

Thanks for the info, I did not see the 13G filing on 2/5/98. Evidently they picked up over 140,000 shares since last years notice of the annual shareholders meeting was printed. It states that as of 3/19/1997 First Pacific Advisors held 2,661,300 which was 11.9% at that time. I f management is the problem or if someone wants to buy, it certainly seems that a critical mass of controling shareholders is developing. This is what happened with a company I once owned (Rexene Corp. NYSE:RXN), but it is now in private hands.
Thanks again.
