It is a foolish cause. Why do you think the stock is drifting lower? It is because so many uninformed investors got sucked in listening to idiotic rumours and are now getting frustrated and leaving. This is depressing the stock. But it will have even more effect than the short term price decline. It will make it tougher to get people to treat the stock seriously in the future when we have real news. The depressed stock will also make future financing difficult and will have to be done at a lower price and that means greater dilution which means money out of our pockets. This desire for a continuing source of ego gratifying and tittilating rumours is childish and foolish. Anyone who encourages this nonsense is endangering their own financial health.
