Quinn, I think they're busy preparing a news release explaining why our stock was down 16.8% yesterday, while gold & silver were higher. I know we all found the last release very helpful.

Quinn and all:

A reply from Tom Shrake regarding my questions on La Colorada:

"At La Colorada, we have conducted studies of the geology, geochemistry and airborne geophysics. We are attempting to joint venture the project. If unsuccessful, we will conduct additional work leading up to a 3000 m reverse circulation drill program. This program is an enhanced version of the stage 1 program, originally planned. We plan to complete this work before June, 1998."

If I am interpreting this correctly negotiations are currently taking place regarding a joint venture, which it would appear, if all goes well, might occur before May/June 1998 timeframe.

Is anyone else reading this the same way?

Rick
