Don:

I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your statistical postings on the sector. Now, I want to ask you your opinion on holding vs. selling.

Due to the volatility in this sector, I am beginning to think that the long term buy and hold discipline that I have practiced in the past is too inflexible. I was looking at your recent post and I see that the time to sell as a sector was maybe about the week of 10/10/97, after a run up of 12 weeks and 5 weeks of nearly flat activity. Do you think that you will use your sector index as a tool to help you decide when we may be in a plateau after a nice run up, and then sell?
