Zeuspaul: We have an option to read any thread on SI or not to read that thread. We read the ones that we like and don't read the ones that we do not like. The threads are set up this way because we all have different reasons for reading them. There is no way that we can read all the posts that come into SI on all the threads, so we pick the ones that interest us the most and eliminate the ones that interest us the least. By doing this we are not telling all the posters that don't interest us that they can't post. Why then can't we further refine the ones that interest us on the indicidual threads. It is still a freedom of choice. I don't tell you what threads to read, or what posters to read or ignore, so why would you tell me which ones to read or ignore. The IGNORE BUTTON just gives me and you more choices, but it does not reduce anyone's rights raven
