Have you shut down and restarted your iPhone a second time since installation? I know sometimes temporary issues can be cleared up by doing so after an iOS upgrade.

Also, every time iOS installs a new upgrade there is some "housekeeping" to be done in the background that can degrade performance. It usually clears up in a day or so, and a restart can again help with that.
