Short term the massive insider selling hurt the stock price- not because they sold, but because they may know something more fundamental and substantial than everyone on this thread combined! I got out at 88.625 ( 02/05 ) but will eventually go back in once the reasons for the massive insider selling become apparent. Would anyone dare comment why 9 insiders registered to sell over 650,000 shares over the last 2 weeks with the SEC?

When he referred to macro-oriented reasons for selling, he probably meant that the insiders didn't think AMD would displace INTC as the market leader, but rather that the CPU game is becoming less profitable. Or something to that effect.
