i will assume that you do not work for Apple and your just trying to help. Having said that, I designed phones and out of 50M+ handsets we NEVER EVER had to do a hard reset, full factory reload of data, start all over.

but I have reloaded the phone and restored it. A major hassle. No fixes.

Why is it that Apple would release a software release that would EVER brick my phone and require a full reset?

Others are starting to report on this same thing as well, both for ios 16.5 and IOS 17 beta.

not just "my phone". Heard that defense from Apple. Spent months going into teh store, having them run their best diagnostics, finding nothing. But they still claim it is my phone.

someone is not doing their job any more.
