Balisoft LiveContact...defining the next-generation internet? This could be as revolutionary [and important] as Netscape's browser when it was introduced...the only problem/opportunity...Microsoft...one can be confident that Microsoft knows what this product represents...will they try to tie Balisoft up and absorb the product into Windows/IE (viz a viz Lernout Hauspie/Kurzweil/Microsoft fiasco)?...build/acquire similar technology immediately and announce to the world it will be released with Window 98/NT as a preemptive strike to Balisoft, et al, going anywhere with it...Balisoft must enter into formidable strategic alliances immediately with this one [ala early Netscape]...the good news...Skapinker founded Balisoft and is a Director of SoftQuad...If SoftQuad gets the exclusive rights to seamleesly integrate LiveContact into WebFiler/(w/HoTMetaL hooks) WebFiler could become the defacto standard [mass market small business] internet database...in our opinion...this could prove to be a very interesting year re: HoTMetal/WebFiler v.
