Herb add a few more upside effects - Proxy , Annual Report You have perceived the other hypotheticals: " Suppose the "run for the money, Oracle/Apple/IBM alliance materializes with an NC and thin client setup that raises eyebrows. Suppose also that a CEO of magnum calibur is announced and the next wave of PPC's is introduced, raising the performance bar for Intel once again. " IMO: the proxy , at $23/shr for insiders , will keep a lid on the price until its mailing ; the Annual Report will be report card justifying the proxy's approval . On your specs : IMO, a big upside would be Cannavino being hired before he speaks 3/18 ? ; same effect with R. Peiper (Tandem ex) who would bring enterprise/server expertise . IMVHO, the stock under $20 is being managed for AAPL's friends , but it will be noticed , as there is now more good (product announcements) news than bad . IM spec O, IBM wants to be assured 1st that both MSFT & INTC will be bothered by the DOJ for many years to come and will act accordingly . Hope this helps your hunting, Jim K.
