& where would you suggest homeless people shit? In Donalds golden toilet?

Ok if they break a law and get caught... you arrest them and give them a TRIAL before you put them in a new Manzanar.

Otherwise this idea is not going to fly legally. They'll just escape and end up on a similar street. And besides no one wants to spend money housing homeless people.

These attitudes are why this problem will NEVER be solved... just like the drug war.

That's right. My mom worked with mentally ill and mentally challenged people in one until Reagan shut it down and dumped them on the streets.

Basically this is a problem that is part and parcel of capitalism. We have people with a dozen mansions and lots of people who can't afford rent, even working people and if they get sick they're fucked. And about 50% of homeless people are sick.

You'd have to be stone stupid to open a mall now days. They're going out of business all over America.

People and businesses are leaving SF because rent and real estate is out of reach. They're not making anymore land. There aren't enough blue collar workers to build homes because they aren't paid enough, white collar paper pushers get the bulk of the money and drive prices up. My clients spend 250k before they break ground. This is a self made problem and you folks need SCAPEGOATS to blame.

The northern European nations don't have this problem. Countries that deal with drug addiction rationally don't have this problem. Countries that continue the drug wars have this problem... its a problem that comes home to some people only when their kid overdoses... then they blame the pusher for their kids experimentation instead of the real problem Prohibition. I've pointed out many times these are the EXACT same problems we had with Alcohol prohibition until we ended that. Now no one dies from bad booze, and less people actually drink.
