Good boy Scrappy! I don't even want to get in a discussion with BB Brain. One thing that doesn't seem to get brought up is Israel. Their people suffered during the gulf war and their government restrained themselves, and that is usually not the case. If Saddam is allowed to continue his insanity creating weapons of mass destruction sooner or later Israel may again be a target or they may decide their national interest is in grave danger and they may STRIKE Iraq with a vengeance!

They could also do it with the intent to eliminate the problem completely, and that could mean the death of a lot of civilians.

With Israel working on a peace initiative I don't think it is too likely they will get involved right away, even if we don't attack. But over time if Iraq is allowed to continue this insanity they will be forced to deal with it and they may not use mostly smart bombs in precision attacks.
