Steve, I think you miss my point. I don't think it's unfair for anybody to ask 3/4 or 7/8 or whatever. I am not one one of those people who think the market is stacked against the little guy. However, I have sat all day with my bid above the posted bid, seen trades go by at the posted bid, and gone home with a nothing done. It's not unfair, it's a fact of life. And the important point is that the option market is very efficiently priced. If you're not getting fine pricing on spreads, you will, over time, lose money. Rialcor-Shatkin would work with the customer to get fills closer to the mm's price than anybody else I've ever done business with. When they quit working retail, I quit options. If your firm offers the same sort of service I'll be happy to open an account with you.
