".. Free enterprise.. "

What 'China- domestic' does is not the same thing as 'China- foreign'. The Chinese citizen for the most part is very happy with their country as long as they have money... they have money they have freedoms of 'Chinese being'. They don't give a rat's ass what happens outside China because foreign news in China is heavily censored & national news is geared tightly political.

What is inferred is the threat to American hegemony. American isolationism/ ignorant foreign policies are internationally failures.. does not matter which country or wherever in the world.

What you say is correct if they were born in America but they weren't. Their mindset and upbringing is foreign to ours and roto outlined some of those differences.

In terms of mindset am unsure what could change to sway the average Chinese mind to a different way of thinking. Sadly my guess is things will have to collapse from within and who knows how bad that can get. Am sure you saw the videos of their authoritarian police state approach to COVID lockdowns and suspect most Chinese never saw those due to highly censored media and snooping.
