Fred and thread, Re. insiders selling

I have tried to correlate insiders selling with stock prices for some times.

My observations are that there are 2 kinds of companies:

1) type 1: executives from quality companies register to sell (Form 144) in anticipating favorable news, developments and higher stock prices;

2) type 2: sleazy companies whose executive sell in anticipation of hard times.

Without naming all the names, Intel clearly belongs to the first category.

Regards,
Ibexx

PS: However, why insiders BUY, it's always a positve signal.
