Bill,
According to Trump all the boxes he packed up, as president, to be shipped to his home were personal.
According to Trump, he thinks he could retroactively declare them as "personal items."

I call bullshit on the retroactive part as well as the "personal item" part, especially when he admitted that the documents in his possession were "top secret" and were never declassified.

Then there's the question of why he'd have to hide those documents instead of arguing from the beginning that they're his "personal items."
