Ramsey, Valueman. Happy to discus VSAT--what recent news are you referring to? They got some favorable comment from the recent IP Multicasting confab in San Jose last week, but nothing hugely significant. Where should we go to discuss VSAT? Mike Doyle

Ramsey:

1) Ally--there product will allow Loral Skynet/Satmex/Orion/C* to better utilize existing infrastructure.

2) I would agree that a takeover would be a possibility, but insiders and employees own a ton of stock, so it would have to be friendly and at a decent price. It would pay several companies to acquire ViaSat rather than pay them x-amount of money for a huge contract.

3)You are not missing anything on the valuation. Remember that they are primarily a defense company, and the valuations given to defense companies, especially small ones, is quite low. In that respect they may even be overpriced. When one looks at the future though, they are cheap. They were especially attractive down there in the 10 to 12 range.

I say we keep our discussion here as it will ultimately apply to our Loral holding. They have visited with Loral, as well as Cyberstar, so we may end up with a contractor for our main holding, Loral.
