Robert, I'm sorry if this sounds harsh but if your investment decisions are based on "the tone of posts" by a bunch of yahoos like us on an Internet forum like this, might I suggest that you rethink your involvement with speculative stocks?

Banks are a good investment and provide a good rate of return. They pay dividends too. Very few 'white knuckles' with these stocks.

Just a word of advice.

Ciao.

Viper, Carl, and Apache Joe: If you guys accuse me of being pompous again, well I'll just have to smile. :-)))))

Robert,

This is a classic case of "decision making under conditions of uncertainty," where it is not possible to be in control of all the facts. Because they are not all in. They never are. History continually unfolds.

But, like trading the trend of a stock, I believe here we can trade based on the trend of the information (and it's apparent quality.)

When that final hypercritical bit of information does come in (whether the Venezuelan courts confirm or deny Crystallex's title claims) I expect another trading halt. Then we are going to see a gapped opening. I am 90% confident that it will be on the up side. Stops and limits probably will not be a lot of help to those caught on the wrong side of the move. I hope it's a tsunami.

Any one who takes note of the high volume movers on the American Stock Exchange, which are delineated in most US morning papers, cannot help but notice this one. I hope that a resounding success here may do for the speculative gold market on the upside what Bre-X did on the downside.

As Mr Metals has noted I also hope there is a realignment of the mining bureaucracy and emerging environmental forces in Venezuela such that Oppenheimer, Fung, Marshall et al. can help restructure the metals exploration/development industry such that this sort of problem/opportunity will be far less apt ro recur.

And finally, perhaps a success here can plant a seed in Indonesia for the same kind of restructuring after Mr Suharto is deposed.

Bill Peavey

Robert, Relax your grip. I've been on Roy's list since the middle of last year and reporting has been excellent and if you were aware of all information he has provided you would undoubtably feel indifferent
to the negative postings by the 3-4 trouble makers who post here.
They have an agenda. I'm long-long and looking forward to a very successful outcome.

What I don't understand is, if your so worried about BB,s recomendations, why did you take on this position?

IMHO, we are over the hump and heading for a very profitable journey
into a new era of mining in Ven.

Cheers,

Robert,

I must clarify one aspect of your post.

You are correct that BB and many other analyst were bullish on Bre-x. But this was before the questions of tampering of assays was made public with Freeport's own drilling.

During the interim when Bre-x and David Walsh and Feldorhof were still insisting that "the gold is there", BB in two newsletters prior to Strathcona's findings made public question whether gold was there or not and in the final one (again before the public announcement of no gold) stated that it would turn out to be a fraud.

Robert:

Your concerns have already been addressed by William Peavey. However,
consider some other factors. I, too was in IPMCF, and some others
though never in Bre-X. There are differences, indeed. In both
instances, there was ample time to get out, yes not at the high,
but certainly at a good enough price to save most of one's capital.
As a matter of fact, I made money on IPMCF, but I had to make
the decision to sell it at some point. With Bre-x especially, there
were a series of announcements that should have raised red flags
that not all was right with the company. Geologists jumping out of
helicopters, etc.

Crystallex is a real company with real gold (in Albino,Carobobo,
Santa Elena, and now Las Cristinas 4 and 6). It is not going to
do the disappearing act that Bre-X and others have done. The worst
case is that you will be left with a junior gold mining company
rather than the emerging major that I see in the cards. The progress
of the company has been amazing. Crystallex was just awarded deep
rock rights for the Albino, and these are shortly to be perfected
as a 30 day period elapses. This signals a change in attitude
of the Ministry of Mining (MEM) which initially appeared to have
a negative stance against Crystallex. All of this is positive, and
gives us considerable comfort that we are correct in our level
of confidence in this company.

As always, there are reasons for investing in particular company.
It is a good exercise to list these when one invests, although
very few of us (myself included) actually do this. As always,
a company goes through changes and transitions. If the company
continues to progress forward, and the changes are for the better,
and as long as the stock price is maintained, there is every
reason to stay with the company. With KRY, there have been
periods of sudden weakness in the stock, and each time, it has
survived and charged ahead. No question that this is scary,
and shakes one's convictions that we are doing the right thing
by hanging in. With Crystallex, the changes have been for the
better, almost on a consistent basis. I have been following
this company for 5+ years, and we are at the threshold of the
most exciting period for Crystallex.

Exercising sound money management principles is applicable to any
situation, no matter how promising. Taking some profits along
the way as KRY rises from one level to another is prudent. There
are no guarantees in this world, and if you have a double or more
on a particular stock, getting back some or all of your seed capital
is advocated by a lot of wise folks.

Having said that, I believe that Crystallex is destined to be
a major player in the gold mining business, and I intend to
hold shares in the stock for a long time.

Regards

Dan
