There hasn't been much information presented here about the company, some questions you might want to have answered on behalf of your friend could be :

Why would a company use the web as means of selling merchandise and not have a credit card affilitation ?

It has been reported here that the trademark for Next Level is owned by another company. Where is the trademark for this company registered?

What are the proposed financial terms for the "merger", there was no mention of whether it would be a stock swap, more stock issued ?

Why was this thread started hours before the press release came out, who knew about it in advance and why?

Planet Sports supposedly has an office with employees in Boulder, did Jonas check that out?

Why was the press release put out after the market closed on Friday ?

Why is Mr. Raabe now asking that people not try to verify the release? If it is too premature and could squelch the deal, why announce it?

Who sent Riley the notes about Hall of Fame ball players being investors

Why did Steve say both teams who played in the Superbowl wore Next Level apparel?

When Mr. Raabe was CEO of QPDC, there was a one day run on the stock(from.25 to 5.25) according to AOL historical quotes, at the time there were 2 stockbrokers on the board.. is there any significance to that or are the quotes in error?
