This would make a nice addition to Creative Inspire: softrack.releasesoft.com

I was just looking into downloading Inspire, but see it is only for IE. That's just a shame, because Navigator is so much better.

Hi Savoirman,

<I think Sim has been reported to say that the currency effect on margins was positive but small >

Yes, this is what was said. But "small" is better than no help. The fact is that margins have been creep up slightly, not down. It shouldn't be a fear that margins will decline in coming quarters/years, it should be expected. The kind of revenue growth we all want to see will undoubtedly come at the expense of lower margins.
BTW, this is also INTC's game plan. The have been calling for long term margins to trend down as they grow revenue through new lower margin businesses. Maximizing gross margin dollars (not percentages) should be the goal.

Re: Graphics business

I am still cautiously optimistic regarding CREAF's ability to penetrate this business. There are a lot of big players in this arena. Hopefully, SIM can pull it off. I wouldn't bet against him <GG>. The new graphics offerings to look exciting and could potentially be big hits. It would be great if they could get an OEM like Dell, Gateway, or Micron to carry their graphics card.

Re: <I bet Altec Lansing's pretty worried about its speaker sales as well.>

I bet you're right. I think "pissing in their pants" would be the right phrase to characterize their reaction to CREAF buying Cambridge <GGG>.

Good luck,

FF
