Sounds like hype to me. BAAT is going to be doing a dyno test on their engine and a control engine for a comparison. Ford is watching these tests closely.

Jeff,
It was reported on this thread by someone that Ford was considering providing 2 engines to BAT for dyno testing, 1 for Bat to modify, 1 for control. If BAT has already done the design work for this particular engine it will still take time to modify. At the very least a cam shaft has to made (hopefully to the proper spec this time). Wouldn't expect any results from such a test for at least a couple months, probably more.

If the modified engine shows significant improvement (is 10% significant? 30% certainly would be) BAT will have something to peddle. Then the question becomes Can we patent it?

I don't and haven't held BAAT and won't consider buying unless it drops under .50 and bases for a couple weeks. If they come out tomorrow with a big deal with somebody I won't get to play.
