TCI selects At Home (February 23, 1998: 9:07 p.m. ET)
The cable giant chooses the company to develop digital set-top software (http://www.cnnfn.com/digitaljam/wires/9802/23/athome_wg/)

Frim the article: "...TCI is also working with Microsoft Corp., Sun Microsystems Inc. and other companies, which are providing operating systems for the 11 million advanced set-top devices TCI is developing..."

Let's hope that Sun is working "real" close with @HOME. @HOME's cable modem is a great service and will allow the end-user to finally connect to the Internet at a very cost effective price. There will be many opportunities for Sun in this market to sell (1) low end home based servers, (2) Java station Home "network" computers and (3) high end server systems to cable companies like TCI and @HOME.
