Putin's propaganda works best if it casts doubt on institutions: Mainstream Media is in on a conspiracy Covid not real a conspiracy CDC is in on a conspiracy Democrats are in on multiple conspiracies Drug companies are in on multiple conspiracies What they're doing with propaganda is reinforcing doubt so that no one can believe anything. Its in Putin's best interests, and Trump's best interests, to reinforce doubt and to cause confusion and division in the US, that makes us the enemy not Putin... It doesn't help that SOME people in SOME of these entities have lied in the past. Or that some conspiracies are real. But it certainly doesn't follow that EVERYONE in ALL of these and similar entities lies all the time. The reality is MOST people in these entities are honest and hard working with good intentions. I would suggest the TV series "The Wire" pretty much nailed how things work in all institutions. Some think its the greatest TV series ever.
