Well Brumar, I just told Wharfie why (big-L) liberals want special treatment for those they consider to be "unfairly disadvantaged."

That has been the case for decades.

Up until recently, conservatives used to be about equal opportunity.

Their desire for special treatment these days is a new thing, but one that follows in the footsteps of (big-L) liberalism.
