$45 is too damn cheap though considering an all cash deal. I'd prefer cash and stock in the aquiring co. w a $50 minimum valuation at the time of announcement. (I sound like Ed McMahon........would you like that $10 million in a certified check , or would you prefer a CD?) Larry, would you like that from behind door number 1, 2, or 3? P.S. To any "spelling bees", Is aquiring spelled correctly? Spell checker says it's wrong and its not in my dictionary. Acquire has a "c." If there's water, there's no "c." Aqua, aquatic, aquamarine, aqueduct, and so on. Otherwise, add it: acquire, acquaintance, acquiesce, acquisition, acquit, acquittance, and so on. Take it from one who's looked up too many words too many times. :) Pat

i certainly was one person not long ago who wanted the $35 offer. i agree with asnd showing product and market strength, 50 becomes realistic, although i hope for stock so it allows me to decide to opt out or own the new company. as for me $45 would be fine.when you consider asnd's earnings and the convergence of data and voice, there is only so much premium to be paid or be left out and try to go it alone. spelling bee aquiring - acquiring (c short)
